Defendant, Delaneo D. Love, appeals from an order of the circuit court of Winnebago County denying his motion to withdraw his negotiated plea of guilty to a single count of aggravated discharge of a firearm (720 ILCS 5/24 — 1.2(a)(2) (West 2004)). Defendant previously appealed from an order denying a motion to reconsider his sentence for that offense. Because defendant’s attorney had failed to file a certificate of compliance with Supreme Court Rule 604(d) (210 Ill. 2d R. 604(d)), we reversed the trial court’s order and remanded the matter for proceedings in compliance with Rule 604(d).…
