People ex rel. Haskin v. Supervisors of Westchester

Appeal from an order quashing a writ of certiorari. The relator, John B. Haskin, Esq., obtained from the supreme court a common law writ of certiorari, to 4 review the tax levy affecting the town of West Farms. 'The writ having been subsequently superseded by the court, he appealed to the general term.

This is an appeal from an order made at special term, superseding a common law writ of certiorari, allowed to review and correct certain items alleged to have been illegally included in the tax levy, *278and warrant to "be issued against the town of West Farms, in the county of Westchester.

The relator is simply a resident and tax-payer in the town of West Farms.
