This is an appeal from an order granting a preliminary injunction in a suit brought by the appellee complaining of the infringement of reissued letters patent No. 11,872, granted to the appellee, as assignee of the administrators of Charles J. Van Depoele, November 13, 1900, upon an application filed September 28, 1900. The original patent was No. 495,443, granted April 11, 1893, to the appellee, as assignee of the administrators of Van Depoele, for an invention by him of a traveling contact for electric railways.
