The action is in equity. Plaintiff is a half-sister of the defendant Cronen and a stepdaughter of the latter’s mother, Catharine M. Lally, deceased. She is a member of the New York bar and was in active practice for some years before and after the year 1901. The complaint alleges a contract made between the plaintiff, the defendant Cronen and Catharine M.
