These appeals are from decrees dismissing two libels in personam in the admiralty. In the first the libellant, the Admiral Oriental Line, alleged that it had been employed by the respondent, the Atlantic Gulf & Oriental Company, as ship’s agent in the Phillipines, and had had charge of fitting out the steamship, “Elk-ton,” on a voyage out of Pulupandan, on which she was lost with all hands in a typhoon.
