Johnson brought suit against the Georgia Railroad and Banking Company, alleging in his petition, in substance, as follows: On October 24,1897, the same being Sunday, petitioner went to the depot of the defendant at Dunlap, about 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of purchasing a round-trip ticket from that station to Crawford, another station on defendant’s road. Dunlap was a regular ticket-station, “ and it was the custom of said defendant company to issue round-trip tickets on Sundays from said station of Dunlap to Crawford for the sum of twenty-four cents.” Petitioner, knowing…
