The information in this case charged that in Lincoln county, on the 6th day of January, 1925, Hugh McCartier and John Quitman did feloniously take, steal, and carry away, and against the will of one R. P. Adkins, the owner, one Ford roadster of the value of $200. Hugh McCartier pleaded guilty and was sentenced to serve a term of 5 years. Upon his trial John Quitman was found guilty and his punishment was fixed at imprisonment in the penitentiary for the term of 10 years. He has appealed from the judgment rendered on the verdict.
