Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Chetta, J.), rendered April 3, 1986, convicting him of criminal possession of stolen property in the first degree and unauthorized use of a vehicle in the third degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

On June 19, 1985, the defendant and another were apprehended while in possession of a late-model Oldsmobile which was later determined to have been stolen from a National Car Rental lot in Queens, New York. As a result, the defendant was charged with criminal possession…
