— Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Nassau County (O’Shaughnessy, J.), rendered September 5, 1986, convicting him of criminal possession of stolen property in the first degree, unauthorized use of a vehicle in the third degree, and reckless driving, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. The appeal brings up for review the denial, after a hearing, of that branch of the defendant’s omnibus motion which was to suppress statements made by him to law enforcement authorities.
