INTERPRETATION OF JUDICIAL ADMINISTRATIVE TOLLING ORDERS – During the COVID-19 pandemic, Chief Judge Mary Ellen Barbera issued a series of administrative orders tolling the running of statutes of limitations and other deadlines for the initiation of matters. The orders tolled those deadlines from March 16, 2020 through July 20, 2020, the date on which court clerks’ offices were reopened to the public.
