William Briggs, alias William Sides, appeals from a judgment of the district court of Shawnee county finding him guilty of contempt and sentencing him to pay a fine of $500 and to be imprisoned in the county jail for a period of six months. It appears that on October 29, 1913, Briggs and his wife *634were temporarily enjoined from keeping and maintaining a liquor nuisance at a place known as 314 Quincy street in Topeka.
