On June 17, 1932, C. E. Wager, then a resident of Washington, D. C., executed and delivered to John S. Barbour, *731trustee, his bond in the sum of $20,000, payable one year after his death, with interest from maturity until paid at the rate of six per cent, per annum. The bond declared on its face that it was given and received, and that the proceeds were to be applied by the trustee according to the provisions of a certain declaration of trust that day drawn in duplicate and signed by Wager and the trustee.
