This is a premises liability case arising out of a carjacking incident that took place at an apartment complex. The appel-lees/plaintiffs, the Quach family, were the victims of a violent carjacking in the parking lot of an apartment that they rented from defendants/appellants, Texas Real Estate Holdings and R.K. Management (collectively, Rosslyn Heights Apartments).
