Plaintiffs brought this action under the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”), 29 •U.S.C.§ 201 et seq. and the New York *310State Labor Law (“NYLL”) § 190 et seq., which govern minimum employee compensation, as well as under Title 12 of New York’s Compilation of Codes, Rules and Regulations (hereinafter N.Y. Comp. Codes R. & Regs.) §§ 142-2.4, 142-2.18 (2009), which governs spread-of-hours pay.
