OPINION

FRY, Judge.

{1} Defendant appeals his convictions for battery on a peace officer and improper display of registration plate. He argues that the district court erred in failing to instruct the jury on: self-defense; the lawfulness of the police officer’s actions; resisting, obstructing, or evading a police officer as a lesser included crime of battery on a peace officer; and entrapment. Defendant further argues that the evidence was insufficient to support his conviction for improper display of a registration plate.
