Appellant was convicted of murder in the second degree, his punishment being assessed at eighteen years ■ confinement in the penitentiary. • .

The complaints of appellant are directed against the court’s charge on manslaughter. Briefly stated, so far as the disposition of the case is concerned, the facts show on Christmas day some negroes were congregated at a race course and. engaged in horse racing.
