HEERY, Associate Justice.
This suit was brought by appellants to recover damages for the death of their son, who was at the time of his death a few months under 14 years of age.
Upon the verdict of a jury a judgment was rendered in favor of plaintiffs for $2500. Plaintiffs’ original petition Avas filed on the 12th day of December, 1888, and the cause was tried in September, 1891. The defendant filed the following motion for a continuance, and now complains of the action of the court in overruling it:
