The State of Colorado (Colorado) appeals from the district court’s grant of summary judgment on statute of limitations grounds in favor of defendants A.O. Smith Corporation (Smith), ASARCO, Inc., Bechtel Corporation, and Sunoco, Inc., on Colorado’s cost recovery claims under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), 42 U.S.C. §§ 9601 et seq.
