HAROLD H. GREENE, District Judge.

Plaintiff Charles Barber, a former building engineer for the American Security Bank, brings this action for employment discrimination under various theories. First, plaintiff claims that he was discrimi-natorily discharged because of his race, black, in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 1981 (1986). 1 Second, plaintiff alleges that the bank took various actions against him in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq.
