Auction Company of America (“Auction Company”) seeks damages for breach of contract from the Federal Deposit Insurance Company (“FDIC”) as statutory successor to the Resolution Trust Corporation (“RTC”). It filed the first of three suits (and the one both parties regard as controlling for limitations purposes) four years arid one day after the cause of action accrued.
