Robertson v. Burstein
Supreme Court of New Jersey
1Opinion of the Court
The opinion of the court was delivered by
Parker, J.
We conclude that the judgment brought up must be reversed, for the reason that two papers purporting to be assignments by two insurance companies to the plaintiff of their respective claims against the defendant for unpaid premiums, were not authenticated by any testimony at the trial so as to be admissible as evidence. They were duly objected to on that ground, exceptions were duly taken, and the alleged error has been duly assigned. The point is squarely before us on the merits.
