THOMAS, Judge.

Terrance Jones, who had previously been convicted of robbery in Missouri and Kansas, was convicted by a jury of unlawful possession of a concealable firearm in violation of section 571.070, RSMo 1986, which prohibits possession of a concealable firearm by any person who has been convicted of or confined for a dangerous felony during the five year period immediately preceding the date of such possession.
