SANBORN, Circuit Judge.
This is an action brought by Mrs. Alice Walquist for damages resulting to her, as she avers, from the negligence of the Missouri Valley Bridge & Iron Company, which she avers caused an injury to her husband, John Walquist, that resulted in his death. The trial resulted in a judgment against the company for $5,000. At the close of the - testimony the court denied a motion of the comj>any to direct the jury to return a verdict for the defendant, on the ground that there was no substantial evidence of any causal negligence of the company, and this ruling is one of the…
