Upon our grant of certification, the plaintiffs, Cynthia A. Violano and Cinderella of New Haven, LLC (Cinderella), appeal from the Appellate Court’s judgment, in a divided opinion, affirming the trial court’s judgment in favor of the defendants, Henry J. Fernandez III and the city of New Haven (city).
