Inhabitants of the Second Parish in Wells v. Osborn

Ejectment for certain lands in Wells. The defendants pleaded a disclaimer of a part of the land, and not guilty as to the residue Issue was joined on both pleas, and the jury returned their verdict for the defendants on the issue of not guilty, and, as to the part disclaimed, that the defendants were in possession of the same at the commencement of the action. The plaintiffs moved for costs, which was opposed by the defendants.
