This action of trespass and ejectment is before this court on defendant’s exception to the ruling of the trial justice directing the jury to return a verdict for the plaintiffs. The question raised by the pleadings and the evidence is whether a widow acquired title to real estate by adverse possession against the next of kin of her deceased daughter on her paternal side. This question arises out of these facts.
