This suit was brought by Agnes Schlosser against the Grand Lodge Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, a foreign unincorporated voluntary beneficial association doing business within the State of Maryland; and it was brought to recover the amount of money payable to the plaintiff under a beneficiary certificate issued by the association upon the life of Michael S. Schlosser, the late husband of the plaintiff. The trial of the case in the Court of Common Pleas resulted, under the instructions granted, in a verdict for the defendant and from the judgment thereon entered this appeal has been taken.…
