This action arose from a collision on September 10,1964, between an automobile driven by defendant, Sidney Cohen (Cohen-defendant) and an automobile driven by plaintiff, Gail Bell (Mrs. Bell).1 Plaintiffs alleged that the accident was the result of the negligent operation of a motor vehicle by Cohen-defendant and the negligence of Johanna Farms, Inc. (Johanna-defendant) in causing one of its trucks to block a stop sign from the view of Mrs. Bell.
