On March 30, 1931, James Hamilton Lewis, plaintiff in error, (herein called complainant,) filed his amended bill of complaint in the circuit court of Cook county against Mary A. Braun, individually and as administratrix of the estate of Jacob G. Braun, deceased, the Foreman-State Trust and Savings Bank, an Illinois corporation, and the Canadian Pacific Railway Company, a Canadian corporation, as defendants.
