This case began with a complaint filed in Ozaukee County Circuit Court on January 15, 2014, dkt. no. 1-1, and culminated in a five-day jury trial in federal court, with the jury returning a $2 million dollar verdict for the plaintiff on September 28, 2017, dkt. no. 337.
