It seems to us to be very clear that Hundley’s subdivision of lots 3 to 21 and 33 to 37, inclusive, in Pine Grove, was not in conformity with the statute, and therefore did not operate as a statutory dedication or conveyance to any municipal corporation, or to the public, of any portion of the lands subdivided, for the purposes of public streets or highways. The plat of said subdivision was made, acknowledged and recorded October 24, 1855, and while the provisions of the Revised Statutes of 1845, in relation to plats of subdivisions of land and their legal effect were in force.
