Plaintiff brought this action against the United States under the Federal Tort Claims Act (“FTCA”), 28 U.S.C. §§ 1346(b), 2671-2678 and 2680, to recover for injuries sustained in the course of his employment as a private security inspector assigned to premises owned by the United States and leased to Sandia National Laboratories. The case is now before the court on the government’s motion for summary judgment pursuant to Rule 56 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
