In this cause, The Wright Company, Inc. and United Pacific Insurance Company appeal from a decree in the sum of $44,235.09, recovered against them in the Chancery Court of Shelby County by F. T. Thayer, Jr. Complainant F. T. Thayer, Jr. was the general contractor for the building of a branch store for Sears Roebuck & Company on Poplar Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee, and The Wright Company, Inc., formerly known as Frank A.
