In this ERISA case, former George Washington University (“GW”) Professor Richard Soland alleges that the university breached a fiduciary duty by failing to inform him of a department-wide retirement plan that he claims was in the works while he “was negotiating his retirement. GW’s omission, Soland contends, caused him to agree to a less-beneficial retirement package.
