This case presents a controversy between the plaintiffs and defendants, with regard to the distribution of the proceeds of a judicial sale of certain lands and slaves. Cammack Sf Co. (who act in this case for the use of Stetson Sf Avery, their transferrees,) obtained a judgment, in April, 1839, in Concordia, against Watson, which was recorded in June, 1840.
