Checker Taxi Company, Inc. (“Checker”) and Yellow Cab Company (“Yelllow”) (collectively “Companies”) initially sued National Production Workers Union and Production Workers Union of Chicago and Vicinity, Local 707 (collectively “Unions”) under the Labor Management Relations Act (the “Act”), 29 U.S.C. §§ 141 to 187,1 charging Unions conducted a secondary boycott in violation of Act § 158(b)(4).
