Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court (Cannizzaro, J.), entered October 24, 2000 in Albany County, upon a verdict rendered in favor of defendant.

Plaintiffs brought this action to recover for injuries sustained by plaintiff Mary E. Zeigler (hereinafter plaintiff) when she fell on May 21, 1997 while descending a set of stairs on the golf course at defendant’s country club in the City of Albany.
