We are called upon to decide whether the trial court erred in granting appellees’ motion to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction and failure to state a claim.

The complaint alleged the following facts: Appellant Donald McClanahan was a continuing teacher having first been employed as a fulltime classroom teacher and subsequently as a dean of occupational instruction. His contract had been renewed for more than four consecutive years of employment with Cochise College.
