In the first of these consolidated cases (No. 45732), in a bench trial in the circuit court of Cook County, defendant, Arthur Holland, was convicted of armed robbery and the appellate court affirmed (9 Ill. App. 3d 536). In the second case (No. 45762), also in a bench trial in the circuit court of Cook County, defendant, Walter Shackleford, was convicted of unlawful use of weapons (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1971, ch. 38, par. 24—1(a)(4)). Relying on its opinion in Holland the appellate court affirmed. (10 Ill. App. 3d 771.)
