This action is a controversy between these respective companies over the amount of electric power furnished by the power company to the railway company, and arose in this manner: In April, 1906, a written contract was entered into between the two companies for the furnishing of electric power to be used by the railway company in the operation of its street car system from Seattle to Renton, the incidental lighting and machinery of its shops, and for sale in small units to consumers not within reach of the power company’s lines.
