FUTEY, Judge.

Plaintiff brought this action seeking recovery of federal income taxes totaling $6,333,334 (or such larger sum as is legally due) plus assessed, restricted, and statutory interest for its taxable year ended December 31, 1974. Plaintiff alleged eleven separate grounds of recovery in its complaint, one of which claimed that plaintiff was entitled to a refund of $1,826,222 for an indirect foreign tax credit pursuant to Article 23(1)(c) of the Convention between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and…
