This is an action for a declaratory judgment. The plaintiff, Henry Collins, has in his possession the bonds in question, all of which are series G U. S. Government bonds as follows:

D1407756G dated June 1944 in the amount of 500.00

D1411427G dated Nov. 1944 in the amount of 500.00
