Adams, were rival candidates for the nomination of the Democratic party for the office of school superintendent for Grant county, Ky., at a primary election held on the 2d day of April, 1904. After the election the returns were canvassed by the Democratic executive committee, the governing authority of the party in the county, who awarded the certificate of nomination to appellee.
