This insurance class action was removed to this court from the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Individually and on behalf of a putative class of Pennsylvania homeowners, plaintiffs Vincent and Linda Papurello (“plaintiffs”) allege defendant State Farm Fire and Casualty Co. (“defendant” or “State Farm”) violated Pennsylvania law by paying initial amounts under homeowners’ insurance policies determined by a two-step procedure.
