BALDOCK, Circuit Judge.

Section 510 of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, 29 U.S.C. §§ 1001-1461 (ERISA), proscribes interference with a participant’s rights under a qualified benefit plan. Section 502(a)(3) of ERISA provides the plan participant with his exclusive remedies for a § 510 violation.
