The issues in this appeal are whether a supply company that provided electrical equipment to a subcontractor engaged in a public works project gave sufficient notice of its claim under a payment bond obtained by the general contractor under Georgia’s Little Miller Act, and whether suit against the contractor was timely filed. The trial court found that Southern Electric Supply Company (Southern) failed to provide proper written notice of its claim to Trend Construction, Inc. (Trend) as required by that Act.
