Artie Graham was the daughter of Kate Graham and husband, Jesse Graham. Artie Graham was employed for about 2 years prior to May 1, 1922, by the Thomsen Company in the manufacture of shoe polish. Artie Graham died January 31, 1924, of tuberculosis, claimed to have been caused or superinduced while in the employment of the Thomsen Company by inhaling poisonous gases, fumes, and powders' arising .from the chemicals used in manufacturing said shoe polish.
