This expedited appeal presents issues concerning the construction and application of the pretrial detention provisions of the Bail Reform Act of 1984 (the Act), 18 U.S.C. § 3142 (1985). In revoking a pretrial detention order issued by a United States Magistrate pursuant to subsections 3142(e), (f) and (g) of the Act, the District Court held that the Government's pretrial detention request had been untimely.
