This proceeding was instituted to determine the paternity of, and to compel the father to support, an illegitimate child. The jury returned a verdict finding the defendant was the father of the child horn to the unmarried seventeen-year-old prosecuting witness. Motion for a new trial was overruled, and judgment was entered upon the verdict requiring the defendant to pay, for the support of the child, fifteen dollars monthly until the child arrives at the age of sixteen years. From that judgment the defendant has appealed.
