Appellant was convicted by a jury of the felony offense of driving while intoxicated and sentenced to thirty-five years confinement. The First Court of Appeals reversed and remanded the trial court’s judgment in an unpublished opinion. Morales v. State, No. 01-99-00457-CR slip op. at 5 (Tex.App.—Houston [1st Dist.] Dec.9, 1999).
